Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using SPANYX you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Account

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for the security of your Google account used to sign in. You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding.

3. User Communications (Voice & Video Calls)

SPANYX offers voice calls and, where available, video calls between users for the purpose of language practice. SPANYX solely facilitates the connection between participants and does not actively control, monitor, or supervise conversations in real time.

Users are fully responsible for their own behavior during any call. SPANYX does not guarantee that a partner will always be available. Matching may be performed randomly or based on preferences made available on the platform.

4. Community Guidelines

All users must behave respectfully at all times. The following is strictly prohibited on SPANYX, including during voice and video calls:

• Harassment, threats, intimidation, or bullying.
• Discrimination or hate speech of any kind.
• Sexually explicit content or nudity.
• Spam, advertising, or solicitation of money.
• Fraud, phishing, or impersonation of any person or entity.
• Illegal activities or sharing of malware or malicious code.
• Use of the platform for any purpose other than language learning.

4a. Reporting & Blocking

Users may block other users and report inappropriate behavior directly from the app. SPANYX may investigate reports at its discretion. Violations of these Terms or of the Community Guidelines may result in a warning, temporary suspension, permanent suspension, or definitive account termination.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

All lessons, slang content, and curriculum materials are property of SPANYX. You may use them for personal learning only.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows may apply.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Liability

SPANYX is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

In particular, and without limitation, SPANYX is not responsible for:

• The behavior of other users.
• The content of conversations between users.
• Private agreements or arrangements made between users.
• Personal information voluntarily shared by a user during a call.
• Any damages arising from interactions between users.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the principal place of business of SPANYX, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
